Create a set of designs for a series of five custom toys.

Creepy Claws • “A handful of horror!”

This is the specimen jar collection of the infamous Dr. Screech. His most prized possessions, this set of 5 tiny hands were collected and shrunk by him. On each jar is the weapon he used to capture the creatures. Collect them all to have a set of the world’s most famous creature claws of your own!

DESIGN CONCEPT

A collection of dismembered hands from all of your favorite classic creatures. inspired by the look of exaggerated vintage movie posters, this toy collection will feature the hand of the vampire, werewolf, 

mummy, zombie, and alien. each hand will be styled to represent its character, and will be packaged inside a jar, similar to those that mad scientists collect and fill with animals/body parts.

THEMATIC TREATMENT

The illustrations I created for these packages were inspired by classic movie posters. I kept the labels black and white because I wanted the green liquid inside the jars to stand out and bring attention to the customized tiny hands.

MATERIALS

Labels were printed on gloss paper, and packages were small mason jars. Each tiny hand was painted and nails/fur were added. Glow sticks were also placed on the inside lids of each jar to create an inner glow.
